Elizabeth Lovatt is a long time Tove Jansson fan having been introduced to

The Moomins through her mum at a young age, but it was Jansson's fiction that Elizabeth fell in love with, rediscovering her with the launch of the imprint Sort of books.

She has written about her favourite Jansson book Fair Play for Dear Damsel and the inspiration she takes in Jansson's

philosophy towards art and life.

In a professional capacity, Elizabeth has been working in Publishing and Museums for over eight years and is currently the Book and Stationery Buyer for the V&A Museum in London.
