“It is simply this: do not tire, never lose interest, never grow indifferent – lose your invaluable curiosity and you let yourself die. It’s as simple as that.”
I’m back on Dear Damsels this month for their theme of ‘Curiosity’ – I wrote about one of my forever favs: Tove Jansson (creator of the Moomins, artist, writer, already babe) and her life philosophy as set out in her novel Fair Play. This is my first non-fiction piece to be published and I really enjoyed delving into the novel again and exploring the importance of nurturing personal curiosity as a form of creative endeavour.
Dear Damsels is an online platform championing young female voices – a place where women can come together online, to read and write about the things that matter to them.
